I’ve always enjoyed good suspenseful reads, and I’ve had a real craving for such stories lately. I want to read authors who can push me to the edge of my seat and keep me there. I mean, specifically, I want my body to be uncomfortably stiff after reading because of the extended physical tension that matches the psychological state created by the work! Mary Burton is an author I have never read but whose reputation precedes her; from what I understand, I think her work is a good place to look for the thrills I presently seek.
