I am naturally happy to have won the NLB Horton novel, although the giveaway went on for so long — accruing so many of our individual entries — that I hardly believed any of us would or could ever win it. 😉 I entered regularly, but I admit there would be something delightful–something like poetry–in such a contest being won by a sometime site visitor happening by one day and submitting only one entry among the few thousand that came in over these months.
