Yeah! Congrats Teddy! I didn’t read a single one of the books you read LOL but you sure had some interesting ones there. I used to read Margaret Campbell Barnes way back in the old days. Actually it was in one of her books that I first found my own name in print. I think it was one of Anne Bolyn’s maids-in-waiting named “Nicola” and I was tickled to find another Nicola. Of course I was only 12 or so at the time but the memory remains.

Jackie, these were all outstanding books except for one. The Kingmaking By Helen Hollick, Galway Bay by Mary Pat Kelly, King’s Fool: A Notorious King, His Six Wives, and the One Man Who Knew Their Secrets by Margaret Campbell Barnes, Signora da Vinci by Robin Maxwell, The Help By Kathryn Stockett were all great historical fiction.
The Brightest Moon of the Century wasn’t historical fiction but it was so intellegently witty and fun. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss any of these. Sorry I can’t narrow it down more!

Nicola, I have never seen my name in print, Teddy is my nick name. This was my first experience with Margaret Campbell Barnes. However, I just received The Tudor Rose from Source Books today. I am looking forward to it.
