Below are how many book have complete for each challenge
Book Awards II Reading Challenge August 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009:6/10
Book Awards II Reading Challenge August 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009:6/10
The following challenges all end on December 31, 2009:
The 2009 ARC Reading Challenge: 10/25
The 2009 ARC Reading Challenge: 10/25
In Summary:
These are my completed Challenges:
I am only 1 books away from completing 2 challenges.
I’m still felling very optomistic for 8 of my 11 challenges remaining.
The 3 I am getting anxious about are:
Book Awards II Reading Challenge August 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009:6/10
What An Animal Challenge July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009:3/6
The 2nd Canadian Book Challenge July 1, 2008 to July 1, 2009:4/13
Not too bad bad. The problem with the 3 is that I am still over comitted in ARC’s and I am trying to catch up. Most of them do not meet the criteria for the 3 challenges.

My ARCs have gotten me behind too. I know I won’t finish the Canadian books challenge. I seem doomed to fail that one.
For the Canadian Book Challenge, go to your library and visit the picture book section. Look for the maple leaf stickers on the spines and pick out 9 books with gorgeous illustrations, your bound to find a few treasures along the way! And you’ll quickly finish the challenge in time.
Chris, it’s just so hard to say no to books that look so good! I finished the Canadian Books Challenge last year, so I guess that’s something.
Nicola, Thanks for the advice. I’ll think about it. It almost feels like cheating though. I especially feel bad about not finishing because I’ve won 3 books from the challenge. LOL!
Don’t feel bad about it being cheating. I felt that way last year when I used a couple of picture books and I went back and looked to see if others had used picture books and plenty had. John himself had used a couple! Picture book writers are authors too! LOL
Thanks Nicola!
Hey! It turns out you don’t suck at challenges! I feel your pain, though, about reading time. It’s always a balance for me between challenges, ARCs, and stuff I just plain want to read.
Thanks Jessica! Maybe I just suck a bit at challenges. LOL!
