MailBox Monday now has it’s very own blog, Mailbox Monday.  It is also on tour and is being hosted by Library of Clean Reads in February.

These are the books I received:

Thanks to Anna Balasi of Hachette Book Group.

I am a big fan of Neal Barnard.  He gives great nutritional advise to those who want to move toward a plant based diet and has great weight loss tips for those who need to lose weight.

Thanks to Rachel Ekstrom of St. Martin’s Press.

I don’t remember requesting it but it sounds good.  I like books that are fictional accounts of classic authors.  This one features Edgar Allen Poe.

Thanks to Michelle Moran and Crown Publishers.

This is my most coveted book of 2011 and now I have it!  A couple weeks ago, I received a hand written note via snail mail from Michele herself!  I was quite blown away.  What a treat; who gets a real hand written, snail mail letter anymore?  The  stationary was beautiful to boot!  Now I have the book to go along with it.

I received 2 books last week:

I won the book of my choice from The Book Depository, thanks to Lesa of at Baja’s Cozy Book Nook.

I received this book from St. Martin’s Press.  I hadn’t requested it by the author, C.W. Gortner had them send it to me since I enjoyed 2 of his previous books,The Last Queen and .The Confessions of Catherine de Medici.

I don’t normally care for mysteries but have read some really good reviews so I think I will try it when I get the chance.
