Here are the books I received while I was away:
I loved Chrisopher Meek’s, The Brightest Moon of the Century,so when Christopher asked me if I wanted to read his new book, I jumped! In fact, I am organizing a book tour for Christopher. You can see the tour details, here. I still have a couple spots available if you are interested.
This is the July/August issue of Bookmarks magazine. My dear brother in-law re-news my subscription every year. Yes, he is a sweetie.

Thanks to St. Martins Press. I am somewhat interested in this book but it was unsolicited. Nonetheless, it is fun getting surprises delivered to my door.
This is another unsolicited book from St. Martin’s. It is the second in a series but I didn’t read the first one. Can it be read as a stand alone?
I also wonder if it is easier and less time consuming for this publisher to send books to bloggers without asking if they want them. Like I said, it is fun to get surprises but I feel bad when I receive a book that I am unlikely to read. They know that I love historical fiction and that’s all they send me.
Thanks to Vagabondage Press for the eBook version.
