I received one book this week. I have drastically cut down on requesting ARC’s and entering giveaways.
Since Alzheimer’s runs in my family, I thought this would be a good book to read.

I want to live where a mailbox like that is appropriate! I hope you find a lot of useful information in that book!
Do let me know if you find it helpful, Teddy! Alzheimer’s runs in my family too.
I love the mailbox photo.
I’ll be looking forward to seeing if you think this book is worthwhile.
Love that mailbox! Seems to be telling the mailman “Feed me books – or else!”
Can’t wait to see what you have to say about the book. My dad is having some memory problems now.
Cutting down on arcs and giveaways?? May the Force be with you!!!
I’ll be taking the big step in 2010, I’m trying baby steps right now … {gulp}
Kathy, I would like to live there too. LOL!
Wendy, I will.
Carol, I thought it was fun when I saw it.
Janel, exactly! Feed me more books! LOL!
Nicola, Thanks! I did better at not accepting ARCs for August. I am expecting a couple this month.
Everyone, I’ll let you know if I found the book helpful but I may not get to it for awhile.
I hope to see a review of that book too as it is a timely subject. Alzheimers runs in my husband’s family and his older sister was diagnosed two years ago. Once it starts, the person seems to spiral downward so quickly. It’s extremely difficult on the caregiver.
Kaye, my father seemed to be doing okay despite his diagnosis of Alzheimers but one day he had the flu and spiraled very quickly after that. September 29th will be the 2nd year anniversary of his death. He developed other health complications that killed him and I know that he would have been glad for that. He didn’t want to live like that.
Odd but neat mailbox pic!
Ladytink, I thought the same thing when I found it. LOL!
