Thanks to Paula Krapf of Author Marketing Experts, Inc. for this book.
Thanks to Gabriele Wills for sending me this book. She saw my wish in my comments of my review of the first book in the Muskoka series for this second book in the series and sent it to me. Gabriele has asked me to let everyone know that her books are available at her website, http://mindshadows.com.
Thanks to Jennifer Robbins of Broadway Books / Random House Inc. for this book. It’s hard for me to resist a cute dog story.
I always forget to include this magazine. My dear BIL gave me a subscription to it for the last 2 years. I receive it 6 times per year. Bookmarks Magazine takes book reviews from various places and shares them in a concise format. They also give the average rating out of 5. Click on the link to find out more.
My mom’s read her copy of Huck already and she really enjoyed it. Happy reading!
Kathy, I’m glad she’s enjoying it!
The Malabar Hill book looks like my thing–is it published in Canada? Depending on your reaction, I think I’ll try and get a review copy.
I love Bookmarks btw (and not just because I published something there some years ago :)). Their website is great too.
I’d like to know more about the Bookmarks magazine. Maybe you could do a post about it?
Niranjana, I probably wont get to Malbar Hill for awhile. It was published in the U.S. What did you publish in Bookmarks? It’s such a great magazine for us book geeks.
Callista, I just added a bit about Bookmarks and the link to their web site.
Huck does look sweet. It’s on a lot of lists today. I love the Bookmarks magazine. I pick it up at B&N when I think of it. Enjoy!
Wow, what a great collection of books! I agree, the Bookmarks magazine has my interest as well.
I also have a Sunshine Award for you on my blog.
Nice mix of books. I like the sound of the House on Malabar Hill!
Teddy, my Bookmarks piece was an overview of novels set in American academia, like Wonder Boys and The Secret History. I had great fun writing it!
I really like the spread of Bookmarks–something there for every reader.
I bought myself a subscription to Bookmarks magazine this year and I love it. The only bad thing is how many books it causes me to add to my TBR list!
Mary,Bookmarks is hard to get where I live so I’m glad I have a subscription.
Janet, thanks so much for the award!
Mystica, I like the sound of it too.
Niranjana, too bad I wasn’t reading it then. It is a great magazine.
Kathleen, adding to the TBR is the greatproblem with Bookmarks. LOL!
