Mailbox Monday now has it’s very own blog, Mailbox Monday. It is also on tour and is being hosted by Amused by Books in September.
Here are the books I received last week:
Another unsolicited book from St. Martin’s Press. It actually sounds quite good to me however, it is like 13th in a series that I haven’t read. Does anyone know if it can be read as a stand alone book?
This is another unsolicited book that sound good to me. I will be hosting a giveaway of it soon, so stay tuned.
I wanted to get this book at the BEA back in May but had trouble getting there early enough to get it. My feet were killing me and I was so tired, I had to sleep in a bit. The old saying is true, “you snooze, you loose.” Thanks to Liz Leong of Doubleday. Stay tuned, I will be hosting a giveaway of this book.
This is another book I missed getting at the BEA in May. Thanks to Net Galley, I now have the ebook.
You had a great week!! I just read a great review of The Kingdom of Childhood and of course, I’ve heard all the buzz about The Night Circus.
Those all look good! The problem with your mailbox Monday is it keeps costing me money!
Great haul! I really enjoyed The Night Circus.
Kathy, there are some great reviews for both books, now I have to find time to read them.
Medea, I see you are a pretty new blogger. Do you have a email address on your blog somewhere? If not, I recommend it but use a generic one like yahoo or hotmail because you will get spam but you will also start to get offers from publishers for free books. All you have to do is give them a fair and honest review. You can also build more exposure for your blog by commenting on other blogs, like you did here.
Anyway, that will cut down on the money issue but soon you will have more books than you can handle and that is an issue too. LOL!
I’m glad you enjoyed it Kelly. I have to find time for it.
I can’t wait to see what you think about The Night Circus. I’ll be reading it soon. Enjoy your new books!
Anna, I am looking forward to reading it. Thanks!
Looks like some great ones. Enjoy!
Thanks Carol!
