Captivating, memorable and heartwarming novel which interests me greatly and is a real treasure. This book resonates with me since I am Jewish with parents from Poland, the story is emotional and beautiful and Newfoundland is a wonder of a setting for this real story. I have visited Newfoundland and was fascinated with the setting and the rugged beauty and locale. When I lived in Canada I visited the Maritime provinces and Newfoundland. What an experience that was unforgettable.
Interesting storyline and location. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to visit Newfoundland, since several of my cousins moved there from Ontario. They love the province. The novel sounds like a beautiful love story between two different cultures. I like the Polish aspect, since my grandparents came from there around that time period, Grandpa in May 1914 and Grandma in August 1922.
