You had a great week in spite of the postal strike! Night Train catches my eye.
Quite an eclectic mix you got! I want to read the last two. Hope you enjoy them all!
Kathy, whoops, I actually said at my door rather than mail box. LOL! They were shipped with Fed X. We didn’t get any mail last week. No bills is nice, except that we are still expected to pay them on time. Sigh.
Avisannschild, I started “The Story of a Beautiful Girl” It’s good so far but I’m only about 50 pages into it.
I read a great review of that one (over at The Betty and Boo Chronicles), so I look forward to your thoughts on it!
Madame Bovary’s Daughter caught my eye. Enjoy your new books!
Awesome Mailbox, Teddy! I’m really jealous of someof those books! I want them!
Lots of good reads there. Hope you enjoy the Chadwick. I did!
Avinschild, I am so far behind on writing reviews but I am trying to catch up.
Anna, I love books based on classics. Thanks!
Jenny, I feel really luck to have received them. The Sourcebook sale is suppose to be for the entire month but it’s no lonhger on there website. If you have a ereader, go to where you usually buy eBooks and see what the price is. Most of them were for $1.99 and $2.99. They were still on sale at Kobo.
Marg, you know I will. You got me hooked on EC. You are such an enabler!
I snagged a book or two from that Sourcebook sale. It was an awesome sale. I found a few goodies that were on my wish list. Enjoy your new reads!
You say the nicest things Teddy! lol
Beth, glad you snagged some. I don’t like shopping except for books. LOL!
Marg, we really belong in rehab together. I’ll tell you what, I’ll tell my husband that Australia has a state of the art rehab facility for bookaholics. Great excuse to come visit you. LOL!
Holy cow, don’t ever tell me where you live cause I would so be stalking your mailbox 🙂 Great books this week – I also received Lady of the English and I am so excited to start it. I really loved Desiree, The Forever Queen and The Brothers of Gwynedd…what a great sale Sourcebooks had – I just love them!
Enjoy your new reads Teddy!
Here is my late MM post: http://www.passagestothepast.com/2011/06/mailbox-monday-on-tuesday.html
Amy, you get your far share too! We could trade places for a month and I bet we would both be happy with the books we receive. especially since we both get a lot of historical fiction. LOL!
Wow, quite a mix of books here. I’ve wanted to read The Story of Beautiful Girl. Enjoy!
2 Kids and Tired Books
What an AWEsome mailbox! Hmmm … if I had to pick my favorite, it would be Story of Beautiful Girl … enjoy them all!
Holly, it is a nice mix isn’t it.
Holly and Julie, I’;m about half way through Beautiful Girl. I am really liking it but not loving it.
