Way to go!
Great job and great selection. I’ve really enjoyed reading all your reviews. I’m looking forward to seeing you again in the CBC4.
Thanks Kathy and John!
John, I really enjoy reading all of your reviews as well.
This comment concerns “From Far Away”.Speaking of different customs, we have different ones in parts of our own country. When I was in the French department at U of T, we went to Trois Pistoles, PQ. for March break. Pairs of us spent a week with a Quebecois family. One day, the teenagers in the family came home, all dressed up in Halloween costumes. They even went door to door to “beg”. Since the family only spoke French, we did not really understand their explanation, as to why they were dressed that way.Looking back, they must have been celebrating Mardi Gras. They were not Mummers, as they are in Newfoundland at Christmas.
