Here’s what I received in my mailbox last week:
Thanks to Cheryl C. Malandrinos of Pump Up Your Book Promotion Virtual Book Tours and to C.W. Gortner for this book.
This is my most coveted book this spring!! I LOVED his book The Last Queen!
C.W. Gortner will being doing a guest post over at Historical Tapestry on May 26th titled ‘Why I Love Catheriene de Medici’. Look for my review of this book here at So Many Precious Books on June 23rd.

I’m so glad you got the book you wanted the most!
Only one book, but since it was one that you REALLY wanted, it makes it all worth it! Happy reading!
I had no idea he had another book out already. I still haven’t read The Last Queen, which I have. This one sounds interesting too. Enjoy!
Thanks Kathy!
Julie, this is not just one book, it is THE book. I wanted it so bad and now it’s in my hot little hands. I have cut down on the number of books that I accept for review. In fact, every once in awhile I don’t get any books in an entire week. It is a good thing because I have more time to read what I want and to to blog.
Avisannschild, I hope you enjoy the Last Queen as much as I did. This new book is coming out on May 25th.
Is this in a series by chance? If so, based on your enthusiasm I would like to start reading it. But I NEVER read series books out of order!! Isn’t that against the law or something?!? LOL
Anyway, if these books are in any kind of chronological order, could you please point me to the first one?
THANKS!
Julie, this isn’t a series. His books to date are stand alone. I just loved his first book, The Last Queen so much. I am also interested in Catheriene de Medici.
Nice! I might even be a little jealous! 🙂
I hope all is wonderful, Teddy!
Lezlie
Enjoy it!
Jealous, jealous, jealous! I didn’t put myself forward for the tour because they usually don’t like sending to me here! Looking forward to the guest post too.
Lezlie, don’t be jealous. Who knows, it may travel with me next time I come to MN.
Thanks Carol!
Marg, We use to have that problem here in Canada when I first started blogging. Were included a lot more now. It is expensive to mail books unless it is within the U.S. because they have a cheap book rate.
