Thanks to Kaitlyn Kennedy of New American Library I am giving away one copy of this book to my U.S.A. readers.
Description:
An historical tale based on the bittersweet life of Henry VIII’s fifth wife, Catherine Howard. In this sweeping and passionate account, a sheltered girl is brought from obscurity and rises to the greatest heights conceivable as the young, beautiful bride of the fifty-year-old monarch. For two short years, Catherine feels like she is on top of the world, until she is forced to clash with enemies far more powerful than she could ever imagine. Wanting only love, she is compelled to deny her heart’s true desire and the one great love of her of her life in favor of her family’s aspiration.
The Queen’s Mistake is the tragic story of one passionate and idealistic woman who struggles to negotiate the intrigue of the court and the yearnings of her own heart. “//Played out in the ivy-adorned palaces and rose-covered gardens of Renaissance England, it is a tale that absolutely captivated me from beginning to end,” says Diane.

I would love to win this book! I have a lot of favorite historical fiction novels. I think my top two are Katherine by Anya Seton and Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. My email address is laarlt78(at)hotmail(dot)com. I am a follower.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
I love the OUTLANDER series but my favorite historical of all time is probably THE SUNNE IN SPLENDOUR by Sharon Kay Penman.
My e-mail address in on my profile and I’m a follower. Thanks for the opportunity!
My favorite HF novel is A Place Beyond Courage by Elizabeth Chadwick, but it’s hard to choose just one. I’ve liked all of her novels, and also everything that Sharon Kay Penman has written. Like others, I’ve become a bit “Tudored” out, but this novel about Catherine Howard sounds like a new slant on a much maligned queen.
I follow through Google Reader.
