Story time at the library is just about to begin but Gordon Loggins is impatient and decides to wonder around until it begins. He finds a secret doorway and goes in. The entrance leads him to a forest. He walks through the forest and comes across a house, the house of The Three Bears.
The bears are frantic because Goldilocks is missing and story time is about to begin. They persuade Gordon to take her place.
This is a charming re-telling of The Three Bears. It is very inventive, entertaining, and the colourful pictures add to it. Another book I highly recommend for children and adults of all ages. Well, maybe your teenager may not think it’s cool. LOL!
Funny how adults are willing to go back to childhood but teenagers are so afraid of doing so 🙂 I guess they’ll come back to the book in a few years!
Aarti, It took some prompting from Nicola to go back to childhood. I’s so glad she did. I think later in life teens may be more open to re-looking at children’s books. Especially when they have children.
It’s because I don’t have children that it took some prompting and me finding justification.
This does look like fun! I’m going to look for it.
Gwendolyn, it was a hoot!
