Thanks to Hannah Auerbach of Newman Communications, I am giving away one copy of Deadly Rhythm.
With the help of his lover and attorney Dorothy and her private detective father, Dick, Philip dives into the case and comes to believe that Al’s death may not have been what it seemed. In fact, Philip and Dorothy are horrified to find that dozens of old German and Italian men in the region, including a childhood friend of Philip’s, have died in other hospitals in the region under remarkably similar circumstances. As the three begin to uncover a murder conspiracy, they are intimidated and even attacked until some familiar friends enter the scene.
disorders. After college at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, he
attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and trained in
cardiology at Harvard. For the past thirty-one years, he has developed a
large referral practice in the Philadelphia region, caring for thousands
of patients with various cardiac rhythm problems while teaching and
mentoring countless medical students, residents, fellows, and physicians
in practice.
Dr. Kowey’s research has led to the development of dozens of new drugs
and devices for treating a wide range of cardiac diseases. He authored
hundreds of scientific articles and textbook chapters before embarking
on his first work of fiction, the widely praised Lethal Rhythm,
published in 2010.
Dr. Kowey and his wife, Dorothy, have three daughters and six
grandchildren. Their permanent residence is in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania,
but they spend time throughout the year with their Portuguese water dogs
at their lake house in the Pocono Mountains. For more information,
